Eric Richmond was born in 1921 and was only 19 when he volunteered to fight for his country in World War II. Despite his tender years he was accepted into the RAF and travelled to South Africa to undergo the extensive training needed to fly Wellington and Lancaster bombers.

We have also been shortlisted in a number of prestigious competitions such as the Best Yorkshire Pork Pie and Best Ready to Eat Product for our Christmas pie in 2017’s Deliciouslyorkshire Taste Awards as well as Bakery of the Year at this year’s Food Manufacture Excellence Awards.
